2 teen beats gone...

we went to dinner with shanyn and shannon yes one girl and one boy, and nicole. and we got to talking about brad renfro and heath ledger. i remember as a teenager how we absolutely cherished the day a had a new movie come out. i remember that 1 spring break we were on our way to florida and we actually found out brad renfro lived in tenn. and we thought seriously, yes seriously serious about finding his house on our trip and stopping to say hi (yeah just hi, yeah right). and then we got on the topic of heath and how sad it is that he leaves behind a little girl and a sad dad and mum. then we came to the conclusion that we really only have one teen beat heart throb still living, devon sawa. so pretty much the responsibility of being generation x's heart throb lays on his shoulders.

then when i was on the treadmill this morning, heath's face was plastered all over the tv. i got to thinking wow! if it was really a self induced drug overdose/suicide how dark of a place was he in. now i'm not a parent unless you count the 260 drug dealers i take care of on a daily basis, but i can't wrap my thoughts around him being to the point of not only taking his life but taking the father/daughter relationship away from his daughter. seriously seriously (yes merideth says that all the time on grey's). so this is my question...when in depression and such a mental state is commiting suicide selfish. now i like to think of myself as a mental health professional and i just can't come to an answer. so thoughts welcome. I'm going to ask my people/probationers what they think tomorrow and i'll update xanga world on their thoughts tomorrow.

Lerew Party a Blast! The festivities began at 8 and went all night long in to the morning. The word to describe everything, "LOUD" everything just seemed crazy loud. But yeah for 2008, my husband informed me yesterday that he's not a fan of odd number years he likes to keep it even, except if it ends in 5 then it is okay. It only took 1 year to learn that about him.

In other news still waiting to hear from the police department. I received my "thanks for applying" email, that stated a test date would be scheduled for me and sent in the mail, but I haven't received it yet. So patience is what it will be for me to get through this.

BIGGEST LOSER...So Adam and I watched the show last night b/c THODGES/PO (Travis Hodges/ Probation Officer) friend is on the Biggest Loser his name is Bernie and he is on the "strangers" team it is blue. Anyway, we were watching it and I sat there and decided that if these people can lose hundereds of pounds than I can lose a couple pounds and get totally musclized so I can be strong for police academy. Everyone keeps telling me that the police dept. will make me strong but I want to be strong before I get there. So, today starts the day where are start lifing like a beast.

Talked to K for a long time the other night, AMAZING! Talked to the Yehzies the other night GREAT, just wish I would of got to see them. And for JILLY we have date coming up this month, details to come.

For future trips, Ambular, Fashoda and I are going to Gatlinburg, TN for a weekend! For anyone whoever has been there suggestions are welcome for things to do.
